Hand-Knotting from Tiling Notations

In this masterclass, the participants learned how to use paper string to create knotted work that follows two-tone knotted patterns in the knot library that I have developed by using mathematical notation methods.

On the first day, after warming up with tying reef knots and getting to know how to read a tiling notation, the participants selected patterns from the knot library to knot.

On the second day, the participants continued with their chosen patterns to create a three-dimensional form.
