Biennial International Conference for the Craft Sciences (BICCS 2023)

The Biennial International Conference for the Craft Sciences provides a platform for communicating craft research beyond the borders of faculties and disciplines. Through the collaboration with the Gothenburg Research Infrastructure in Digital Humanities (GRIDH) at the University of Gothenburg, the conference will provide multimodal communication to better elicit the performative and material nature of craft research.

Two conference keynotes are:

• Dr. Nithikul Nimkulrat, Associate Professor of Material Art & Design at OCAD University, Canada.

• Dr. Maikel Kuijpers. Assistant Professor of European prehistory at Leiden University, The Netherlands.
